Well, well, well … we interrupt your regularly scheduled updates on Monte, Claire, and Minnie to bring you … MORE KITTENS!!!
Okay, to be fair, I’ve only got these three for about 24 hours – I’m babysitting. Er, kittensitting them. My new rescue friend, Anje, went and picked up these babies from the San Jose shelter last night, and the two little ones (the masked tabby and the tortie, but mostly the tabbie) are VERY stubborn about latching onto the bottle. She had afternoon and evening plans and it was going to be a real ordeal to bring them along, so of course I said I’d take them.
She brought them over around 11am today, with the hope that I could get this little mister to latch on somehow!
It took about two hours of total perseverance, but he DID actually latch and guzzle in the end and sucked down several CCs FINALLY! Before that, it was going in drip by drip! These guys are about the same age as mine, so at about 14 days old, if they just lost their mama, they’re hoping they can out-stubborn us and we’ll give her back. Poor little tykes!
He was a LOT happier with a full belly!
THIS little monster had ZERO problem latching, or eating! And clearly has been that way from before we got him! He is a full 20g heavier than his littermates!
Seriously? Look at these two!
This adorable little girl (the only girl in that litter) mostly is okay with the bottle, but isn’t very happy about it still.
She is, however, snuggly!
Very snuggly! And the only one with her eyes open of the three, although I didn’t manage to catch a pic of that!
Besides eating, the siamese also like snuggling, and purring!
MID YAWN SNAPSHOT!!!
He does have tiny eye corners, and he’s going to be a gorgeous kitty!
And for you MMC fans, Minnie, Monte, and Claire slept through it all!
OMG, I just seriously fell in love with the silver? chubster. *grabby hands*
He is very very grabby! Easy purr, and floofy and big and cuddly! He’s going to be DEADLY cute when those eyes open properly in the next few days!
falls in love even more….:)
OH my gosh…I am in precious babies overload!!! Really. Oh my goodness.
