Like I said, I’m resorting to updates and recycling of former kittens while I wait for MY start to kitten season! I got a response from Turtle, now Hazel’s, new family!

Yes! We do have some photos to share with you. My daughter tends to be a bit arty with the camera, so I hope you don’t mind the interesting composition and lighting. :0)
Hazel is well and thriving. She and our Boston Terrier Wanda are the best of friends. Hazel is a little minx, tormenting Wanda with her hi-energy kitty ways. Wanda takes it in stride, and I think she’s amused by her. As you can see by the first photo, Hazel has been provided with the best of kitty comforts! She eats like a horse, she’s saucy, and full of affection. We are VERY in love with her.
I’ve recently been letting her explore in our back yard. She loves chatting at the birds, but her favorite past time is sitting in the juniper tree and stalking the pesky squirrels. She is comes inside when I call, and couldn’t be a better kitty.
I’m very grateful that you took such loving care of her and gave her a chance at a happy life. We are thrilled.

What a beautiful gleaming Tortie goodness girl. OH my mommy loves Torties so much. ‘Course, I AM a Tortie myself.
She’s gorgeous! I only want to warn against the cypress trees. They notoriously hide raccoons. Be extra vigilant.
