(A note: I had intended to put in a bunch of entries from the past, but that was keeping me from moving forward. If I decide to do that, I’ll backdate them, and say something. Meanwhile, I’m just going to jump in with what’s going on kitten-wise now. Feel free to ask questions to catch up to speed!)
Aidon’s been gone to England for a week. The day before he left, we took five of the seven remaining foster kittens to Hopalong Animal rescue because they said they could help us find forever homes for them by showing them at Petsmart. I truly hated this idea, but they NEED homes, and I can visit them as much as I like. And I have been. Every day, several hours each day.
As I said, Aidon got back today, and we decided to visit the remaining two kittens on the way home, Jett and Joule. The moment Aidon opened his mouth, and they heard him through the glass, they perked up. Joule stood up, peeped at him, and made biscuits on the ground beneath her. They jumped down to the back of the cage, when we were let in, and hopped right out to see him.
She was SO glad to see him!
They both were!
